The following is an excerpt from Castiel's BDSM-5 V1

BDSM: Bondage Dominance Sadism Masochism
Bondage: Restraining or tying up a partner
Sadism: Receiving pleasure from inflicting pain on a partner
Masochism: Receiving pleasure from receiving pain from a partner
Dominance: Holding authority over a partner both in and out of the bedroom
Submission: Giving authority to the dominant partner, willingly
Aftercare: Taking care of the needs of each partner after a scene
Breath Control: Controlling a partner’s ability to breathe
Chastity: The complete denial of sexual acts (sex and masturbation) often times with enhancing clothing like chastity cages/belts
Collaring: The ultimate commitment in BDSM, this shows complete ownership of the submissive to the dominant, it is a physical symbol of the commitment and trust two partners can show each other
Dom/Domme/Dominant: The partner who takes the lead, holding total authority over the submissive
Edging: Bringing a partner to the edge of an orgasm, but not letting them finish
Hard Limits: Things that are absolutely not okay to attempt
Pegging: A femme partner using a strap-on to penetrate the masc partner
Play Space: A safe space designated to practicing BDSM in a controlled and comfortable environment
RACK: Risk Aware Consensual Kink, creating a space to talk about kinks safely as well as opening up a discussion of how to practice kinks as safely as possible, knowing the risks of a kink (which can include mental trauma, physical trauma and potentially death) and being absolutely okay with them before jumping in
SSC: Safe Sane Consensual, creating a space to talk about kinks safely as well as opening up a discussion of how to practice kinks safely, staying safe, not doing any activities that can result in permanent harm, and always getting full consent
FRIES: Freely given, Reversible, Informed, Enthusiastic, Specific, an acronym used to specify what exactly is consent, not coerced, can be revoked at any time, every detail has been okayed, there is no hesitation
Safeword: A word used when the scene needs to end, for any reason, immediately as the word is used
Subspace: A headspace experienced by the submissive partner that includes a rush of hormones and endorphins
Switch: A partner who switches between dominant and submissive
Scene: Being in your roles during sexual intimacy, this can include sex or sexual things i.e. spanking
Subdrop: The drop of hormones and endorphins after being in subspace, this can happen minutes or days after a scene. It’s usually marked by a low mood, low energy, crying, and others
Multi-day Scene: A scene spanning multiple days
Edgeplay: A term for scenes that challenge SSC, but if all partners agree to the risk, it becomes RACK
Service Sub: A submissive who is in service to their dom, who loves to serve their dom
Service Dom/Top: A dominant who is in service to their sub, who loves to serve their sub
